Welcome to Doty Chapel Baptist Church! Our purpose is to lead people into a personal relationship with Jesus Christ beginning in our community. Our desire is to minister and help strengthen your faith that you may grow into a mature Christian who serves Jesus Christ.

Doctrinal Stand

* We believe that God exists eternally and reveals himself in God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit.
    * We believe that Jesus Christ was born of a virgin, was crucified, buried, and arose from the grave, and will come again to rapture the Church.
    * We believe that the Holy Spirit is given at the time of conversion and that baptism is a public testimony of what Jesus Christ has done in their life.
    * We believe that the Holy Bible is "God Breathed" and we follow the teachings which guide our faith into practice of His Word.  We believe there are no errors in the Bible and that the Bible is truth. We believe that through supernatural guidance of the Holy Spirit, the Bible was written.
    * We believe that the Old Testament backs the New Testament.
    * We believe that regardless of sin, man can get forgiveness, salvation which is made possible by the death of Jesus Christ on the cross.  Salvation is by grace through faith, believing in the person of Jesus Christ.
    * We believe there will be a rapture of the church at the end of the Church Age.  The dead in Christ will rise first and meet Christ in the air.  Those who die without trusting Christ will go to eternal punishment in hell.
    * We believe in the eternal security of the believer in Jesus Christ.
    * We believe in missions both home and foreign and contribute monthly to this effort through the Cooperative program of Southern Baptist Churches.
